Hayley De González is currently teaching the Ceramics and Graphic Design courses at
North Greenville University, located in Tigerville, SC. In 2013, she obtained her Master of Fine
Arts degree from the University of South Carolina, where she studied under Virginia Scotchie.
Prior to becoming a full-time Instructor at NGU, she taught Ceramics 1 as a part of her assistantship
while she was attending USC and then followed up with one year of teaching as Adjunct Instructor
of Ceramics at Anderson University, located in Anderson, SC. She has exhibited her work at both
regional and national exhibitions, and has experience conducting a clay workshop and has participated
in numerous others. She also serves as Art Adviser to The Mountain Laurel, North Greenville University’s
student lead publication featuring literature and art.
